Types of Vacation

Types of Vacation

1. A visit to a beach

This type of holiday is ideal for people who want just to relax, suntan and not have to think about anything but when to re-apply the sunscreen, open a bottle of fresh beer and what magazines to read while they lounge.

2. Backpacking

Backpacking is a form of low-cost, independent travel. If you are a curious spirit, hungry for new adventures and eager to explore new culinary delights and cultures, backpacking is an ideal choice for you.

3. Going on a cruise

This is a unique experience of sailing from one place to the next on a floating hotel! There are  limitless amounts of activities you can do, both on board and off. However, it is not a good idea for those suffering from nausea or water fear.

4. Adventure holidays

A choice for those who want to go off the beaten track. Make sure you are a bit fit or in a good physical condition so that you can cope with the challenges of the extreme activities such as volcano hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking etc.

5. Culture and art

Culture is at the heart of any destination. There’s no better way to understand a country, city or region than through its food, music, history and art. In this way you also experience and appreciate the value of "the different" escaping from the limits of your own culture and lifestyle.

6. Family travel

Usually parents with young children prefer spending their holidays at a quiet island enjoying the sea, the water sports and the nature. Although, there are plenty packages providing adventure and recreational activities for all the family members. This type of holidays help strengthening the bond between the family members! Parents with children in puberty should equip themselves with plenty of patience!

7. Safari holidays

Safari holidays are an increasingly popular holiday activity. They involve the primary goal of watching wild animals in their natural habitat. The game-viewing can be done on foot, horseback, in vehicles or indeed by elephant back or boat.

8. Train Tour

One of the best things about the train holidays is the opportunity to see a destination from its best  point - passing through the towns, cities, and countryside on board the incredible atmosphere of a convenient train.

9. Camping
This type of vacation brings you back to basics, connecting you with the Mother Nature. It's ideal for those who aren’t afraid to get a little dirty or not obsessed with their impeccable appearance. Just make sure you take insect repellent and rolls of toilet paper.
