Too and Enough

Τοο = much more or less than what is needed

Xρησιμοποιείται για να δηλώσει πλεονασμό (κάτι σε υπερβολικά μεγάλο ή μικρό βαθμό) που
επιτρέπει στο υποκείμενο να εκτελέσει μια πράξη.
e.g. The weather is too bad to go camping.

ΣΥΝΤΑΞΗ:

e.g. Be careful! The coffee is too hot.

e.g. I don't trust Mike. He drives too carelessly! 

e.g. It is too good to be true!
e.g. Mike drive too carelessly to trust!

e.g. There was too much traffic today!
e.g. There were too many mistakes in your essay!

Εnough = sufficient / what is needed

Χρησιμοποιείται για να δηλώσει την επαρκή ποσότητα ενός πράγματος ή την επαρκή ποιότητα μιας ιδιότητας που επιτρέπει στο υποκείμενο να εκτελέσει κάποια πράξη.
e.g. He is old enough to fend for himself.

ΣΥΝΤΑΞΗ:

e.g. The weather is warm enough today. Let's go on an excursion!

e.g. He is qualified enough! He deserves the promotion.

e.g. There is enough sugar in my coffee. I don't need more. Thank you!

e.g. There are enough sweets for all the children at the party! 

e.g. The weather is warm enough to go on an excursion.
e.g. He is qualified enough to get the promotion!

to infinitive 

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ
1.Το enough μπαίνει ΜΕΤΑ από τα επίθετα, λειτουργώντας έτσι ως επίρρημα (= αρκετά) adverb.
2.Ωστόσο, μπαίνει ΠΡΙΝ από τα ουσιαστικά, λειτουργώντας ως επίθετο (=αρκετός/-ή/-'ο) adjective.
3.Το too έχει αρνητική χροιά, γι' αυτό δεν συντάσσεται με κάποια άλλη εμφανή άρνηση. 
e.g. The isn't too much traffic today. ΛΑΘΟΣ
ΕΝΑΛΛΑΚΤΙΚΗ ΕΚΔΟΧΗ: There is little traffic today. or  There isn't so much traffic today.
